PHILLIPS LYTLE SPECIAL COUNSEL DAVID L. PRINCIPE TO PRESENT AT WORLD TRADE CENTER BUFFALO NIAGARA’S GLOBAL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION PROGRAM ON LEGAL ASPECTS OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE
Buffalo, N.Y. – David L. Principe and Jon P. Yormick, special counsel at Phillips Lytle LLP, a premier regional law firm that is recognized nationally for its legal excellence, will be presenting at World Trade Center Buffalo Niagara’s Global Business Administration Program. The event will take place on Friday, October 2.
Mr. Yormick and Mr. Principe will present “Legal Aspects of International Trade.” This module includes the following topics: U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, an overview of trade law, intellectual property protection, dispute resolution, policy updates, technology transfer, patent protection abroad, protecting trade secrets, and best practices for signing contracts or other agreements with foreign partners.
Mr. Principe concentrates his practice on utility and design patent prosecution, trademark prosecution, and client counseling in the area of intellectual property.
Mr. Yormick’s international business practice includes reviewing, drafting and negotiating a variety of international commercial agreements, emphasizing litigation avoidance, liability limitation, tariff reduction, Free Trade Agreements, and other risk management and cost reduction strategies.
