Phillips Lytle LLP Partner Richard E. Honen will be participating in a CLE program for the New York State Bar Association on October 6, 2021. Attendees will be able to earn up to 7.0 CLE credits for the event, which runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
During this program, attorneys will review major changes that have occurred across the legal landscape throughout the past year. Mr. Honen will lead a session focused on Business and Corporate Law. The event will also explore recent developments in Civil Procedure; Matrimonial and Family Law; Trusts and Estates Law; Criminal Law; and Ethics and Professionalism. Each of the day’s sessions will dive into different cases, rules, procedures and practice techniques, giving comprehensive advice on how to stay up to date within the industry.
Senior Associate Timothy Kucinski and Associate Joseph Walsh, both in Phillips Lytle’s Corporate Practice, collaborated on the statutory and regulatory research and the development of the written materials.
Mr. Honen is the Venture Capital & Technology Practice Team Leader for Phillips Lytle LLP. His practice is concentrated in the areas of corporate, finance and venture capital law, along with complex mergers and acquisitions and commercial litigation. Throughout his career, Mr. Honen has provided corporate counsel to a wide range of companies, including different start-ups and FORTUNE 50 businesses. As a frequent lecturer, he has extensive experience providing information on the topics of corporate law, venture capital and entrepreneurship.
