Reich Talks H-1B Reform at Buffalo Niagara Partnership Capital Conversations

The federal government is making it harder for employers to find and keep the talent they desperately need.

The Buffalo Niagara Partnership hosted its Capital Conversation highlighting the urgent need for H-1B visa reform as a way to help employers address their growing talent challenges.

The federal H-1B program enables employers to hire top talent from around the globe, filling critical jobs and expanding our country’s capabilities. But the current H-1B visa cap is outdated and fails to meet employers’ needs. 

This event explored the H-1B visa program, its current shortcomings, needed reforms and the impact those reforms would have on our regional economy.
