Paula P. Plaza delivered a virtual presentation at the 22nd Annual Conference organized by the Association for Conflict Resolution – Greater New York (ACR-GNY). The conference, titled “The Speed of Need,” explored the rapidly evolving landscape of dispute resolution. Paula and Gary Doernhoefer, Co-Chair of the ABA Dispute Resolution Section Technology Committee, delved into a wide range of topics that are shaping the future of dispute resolution, including current and emerging technologies such as ChatGPT, robot judges and lawyers, emotion AI and the regulation of artificial intelligence. The presenters highlighted the importance of ethical considerations and responsible use of technology in the legal field.
