PHILLIPS LYTLE LLP SPECIAL COUNSEL JON P. YORMICK TO PARTICIPATE IN WEBINAR TITLED: “NAVIGATING ECONOMIC SANCTIONS: THE FIRST 60 DAYS OF THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION”
Buffalo, N.Y. – Jon P. Yormick, special counsel for Phillips Lytle LLP, will speak at a Finance, Credit and International Business Association (FCIB) webinar on the topic of “Navigating Economic Sanctions: The First 60 Days of the Trump Administration.” The webinar will take place on Tuesday March 28 at 11 a.m. This webinar will highlight some key U.S. sanctions programs, discuss permissible transactions under sanctions regimes, and review some recent settlements of cases involving sanctions violations.
Mr. Yormick is an experienced international business and trade attorney, practicing for more than 20 years. In his International Trade and Customs practice, Mr. Yormick represents U.S. and foreign clients before the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the U.S. Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), the U.S. Department of Treasury, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) on import and export laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
