PHILLIPS LYTLE LLP PARTNER KENNETH A. MANNING NAMED 2017 LAWYER OF THE YEAR BY THE BAR ASSOCIATION OF ERIE COUNTY
Buffalo, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP Partner Kenneth A. Manning has been chosen as the 2017 Lawyer of the Year Award by the Bar Association of Erie County (BAEC). The award will be presented at the BAEC Annual Dinner on Tuesday, June 6th at Kleinhans Music Hall.
The Lawyer of the Year Award was established to recognize outstanding service and dedication to the legal profession, the Bar Association and the community at large.
Mr. Manning is the team leader for the firm’s Class Action and Government Operations Practice Teams. He has experience in bet-the-company corporate and commercial litigation, including dissolution proceedings, employment termination disputes and controversies involving the sale of goods and services. In addition to personal injury and wrongful death claims involving products liability, workplace accidents, negligence and environmental exposure experience, he has prosecuted and defended class actions in both state and federal courts, and has experience in challenges to governmental actions, including taxes and assessments, as well as actions for declaratory relief.
