PHILLIPS LYTLE LLP PARTNER FREDERICK G. ATTEA TO RECEIVE NATIONAL FEDERATION FOR JUST COMMUNITIES OF WESTERN NEW YORK 2018 COMMUNITY LEADER LEGAL AWARD
Buffalo, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle Partner Frederick G. Attea will receive the National Federation for Just Communities of Western New York (NFJC) 2018 Community Leader Legal Award. The award will be presented at the NFJC Community Leader Luncheon on Wednesday, January 24 at the Buffalo Convention Center.
This year marks the 65th Annual Community Leader Award Celebration, during which a select group of citizens and organizations are honored for their exemplary acts and deeds of service to the cause of promoting Sisterhood and Brotherhood in our local community.
The Community Leader Awards recognize individuals/organizations in Western New York who have made significant contributions to this region through their involvement in volunteer activities and/or their special achievements in specific areas of community and professional life. These individuals/organizations exemplify the NFJC core mission of promoting goodwill, understanding, respect, and trust.
Mr. Attea concentrates his legal practice on mergers and acquisitions, securities laws, corporate governance, and legal compliance programs. He has been a member of the New York State Bar since 1965 and has served as a member of the House of Delegates, Chair of the Business Law Section, as well as Chair of the Corporation Law Committee. He is a leader in the Western New York community, dedicating his time to his practice and to community service, especially in education and the arts. He has authored numerous articles and lectured on a variety of legal topics.
