Buffalo, N.Y. – Robert M. Greene, counsel for Phillips Lytle LLP, a premier regional law firm that is recognized nationally for its legal excellence will present “Governance of Investments in The NotFor-Profit Corporation – Or Why You Can’t Do What You Think You Can” at the Western New York Planned Giving Consortium. The presentation will take place at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, January 12 at the Saturn Club in Buffalo.
The presentation is designed for board chairpersons or other board members to learn how to foresee issues and know when to ask questions of the organization’s investment advisors, accountants and legal counsel.
Mr. Greene focuses his practice in the areas of health law; corporate counseling, including administration and strategic planning; not-for-profit corporate formation, tax exemption and qualification with New York State administrative agencies; and investment standards for endowments. Mr. Greene has chaired more than a dozen boards of not-for profit civic and charitable organizations.
