Buffalo, N.Y. – Kelly E. Marks, a partner with Phillips Lytle LLP, a premier regional law firm recognized nationally for legal excellence, will present “Charitable Giving Insights All Fundraisers Should Know: Important Advice and Topics Your Donors May be Hearing” at the Association of Fundraising Professionals Western New York Chapter (AFP-WNY) professional advancement session on Wednesday, December 9th. The event will be held at Acqua Restaurant in Buffalo at noon.
Ms. Marks is a tax attorney practicing in the areas of partnership and corporate tax; real estate investment trust tax; and the taxation of exempt organizations, mergers and acquisitions, private equity deals, joint ventures, equity compensation, and litigation settlements. She has expertise in New York State tax law, including sales and use tax.
