Kevin M. Hogan to Succeed David J. McNamara as Phillips Lytle’s Managing Partner

KEVIN M. HOGAN TO SUCCEED DAVID J. MCNAMARA AS PHILLIPS LYTLE’S MANAGING PARTNER

Buffalo, N.Y. – Kevin M. Hogan, a partner with Phillips Lytle LLP, has been appointed to succeed David J. McNamara as the firm’s managing partner, effective January 1, 2017. Mr. McNamara, who has been the firm’s managing partner since 2007, will resume his practice focusing on business litigation and project development.

“The ideal time to step out of this position is when the firm is in a position of strength,” said Mr. McNamara. “I look forward to continuing my practice and being actively involved at Phillips Lytle and in the community for years to come. Kevin will lead the firm forward with the same level of enthusiasm, dedication and thoughtfulness that he has demonstrated in his practice and all of his various other roles throughout his career. Mr. Hogan has been with Phillips Lytle since 1992, and became a partner in 2000. He served as the Buffalo Trial Department Administrator from 2005 to 2007. He was also a member of Phillips Lytle’s Governing Committee from 2005 to 2010, and 2012 to the present. Mr. Hogan’s practice focuses on environmental law, intellectual property and litigation.
