New York, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP Partner Anna Mercado Clark, CIPP/E, and e-Discovery and Litigation Support Manager David Lapresi will serve as panelists at Legaltech®, taking place January 29-31 at the Hilton New York City.

Ms. Clark will participate in the panel discussion on January 30th titled “What’s in Your Smartphone? Mobile Device and Email Investigation Strategies and Stories.” This panel of forensic and e-discovery experts will discuss strategies and tactics they use to collect, investigate, and present digital evidence from the very device you are reading this on. Panelists will focus in on the special challenge of e-mail and cell phones (policy, hardware, and software). This session will dive into just how much information can be pulled off of your devices and better understand the tools, techniques, and strategies available to modern investigators.
Mr. Lapresi will participate in the panel discussion on January 30th titled “Why Lawyers Are Adopting AI Faster Than You: Law Firm Leaders Share Technology Strategies.” This panel will discuss how predictive coding paved the way for a new era of AI-enhanced law firms. In this breakout, panelists will share their insights on the problems and pain points faced in their practice, their innovation journey towards developing technological solutions, and the new AI-enhanced technologies that they are actively pioneering with software developers right now.
As leader of Phillips Lytle’s Data Security & Privacy and e-Discovery & Digital Forensics Practice Teams, Ms. Clark focuses on complex e-discovery and digital forensics, cybersecurity and data privacy, and complex commercial litigation. Ms. Clark has been awarded the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) designation by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), a preeminent certification for advanced concentration in European data protection laws, standards and practices. As a former Assistant District Attorney, she also handles white collar criminal matters and investigations.
Mr. Lapresi has more than 20 years of experience in the legal technology field. At Phillips Lytle, he provides direct support advising on best practices regarding e-discovery, including managing document collection, review, and production workflows.
