SIXTEEN PHILLIPS LYTLE LLP ATTORNEYS HONORED BY THE NEW YORK STATE BAR ASSOCIATION FOR THEIR PRO BONO WORK
Buffalo, N.Y. – Sixteen attorneys from Phillips Lytle LLP, a premier regional law firm that is recognized nationally for its legal excellence, were honored by the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) for their pro bono work under the auspices of the Empire State Counsel® Program.
The Empire State Counsel held its 2014 awards luncheon on January 29, 2015 at the Hilton New York Midtown, in New York City.
Established in 2006, the Empire State Council® Program gives special recognition to NYSBA members who perform 50, or more, hours of pro bono service during the calendar year.
Phillips Lytle attorneys cited for the pro bono work include: Spencer L. Durland, Myriah V. Jaworski, Nickolas Karavolas, Gary F. Kotaska, Colleen E. Lamarre, Ryan A. Lema, Amanda L. Lowe, Daniel R. Maguire, Deena K. Mueller, Kevin J. Mulvehill, Gregory L. Peterson, Patrick A. Sheldon, William J. Simon, Lisa L. Smith, Richard T. Tucker, and Robert F. Zogas.
These attorneys are from Phillips Lytle’s Buffalo, Jamestown, Rochester and New York City offices.
In 2014, Phillips Lytle donated more than 2,668 hours of free legal assistance to individuals and non-profit organizations that would not otherwise be able to afford attorney services.
