PHILLIPS LYTLE TO SPONSOR ALBANY BUSINESS REVIEW STATE OF THE REGION BREAKFAST “HOW WILL ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE ADVANCE ALBANY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT?”
Albany, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP is proud to sponsor the Albany Business Review State of the Region Breakfast titled, “How Will Energy Infrastructure Advance Albany Economic Development?” The event will take place on Tuesday, June 12th at 7:30 a.m. at The Century House in Latham. New York State Public Service Commissioner Diane X. Burman will deliver opening remarks. Phillips Lytle Partner and Energy Practice Team Leader David P. Flynn will moderate the panel discussion.
There is a direct connection between energy and economic development. With New York State’s objective to transform the energy sector to promote de-centralized supply with localized demand and flexibility through distributed energy resources, this is an interesting time for business and economic development planning stakeholders to define what they see as the market need.
Hear from industry experts on:
- Why energy is a priority in advocacy and what are the business opportunities.
- Site selector perspectives on what is needed in terms of energy infrastructure to promote economic development.
- How to incorporate alternative energy solutions in future development.
- What the energy market drivers are in the Albany region.
Panelists include:
- Dennis W. Elsenbeck, Head of Phillips Lytle Energy Consulting Services and formerly a director of an international utility company
- Andrew Kennedy, President and CEO, Center for Economic Growth
- Jeff Mirel, Executive Vice President, Rosenblum Companies
