PHILLIPS LYTLE PARTNER RICHARD E. HONEN TO MODERATE UVANY EVENT “GROWING BUSINESSES THROUGH ACQUISITION”

Albany, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP Partner Richard E. Honen will moderate the UVANY event, “Growing Businesses Through Acquisition.” The event will take place on Wednesday, March 29th at the Albany Pump Station at 5 p.m.

Growing companies through acquisition is a strategy that many executives choose once a company reaches a level of maturity with its products, services and customer base. Mr. Honen will moderate a panel of capital providers who will discuss the relative advantages of using senior debt, mezzanine debt and private equity funding to facilitate company growth.

Mr. Honen focuses his practice in corporate, finance, and venture capital law, and complex commercial litigation. He is the firm’s Venture Capital Team Leader and is the Partner in Charge of the firm’s Albany office. He provides corporate counsel to a broad spectrum of companies from start-up to Fortune 50 and has lectured extensively, particularly on the topics of corporate law, venture capital, and angel investing. He also represents companies in complex commercial litigation matters.
