PHILLIPS LYTLE PARTNER RICHARD E. HONEN TO MODERATE STARTUP TECH VALLEY EVENT

Albany, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP Partner Richard E. Honen will moderate the StartUp Tech Valley event on Wednesday, April 5th. The event will be held at GE Proctor’s Theatre in Schenectady at 6 p.m., and will feature companies from the BizLab incubator in Schenectady. Phillips Lytle is a sponsor of the event and also mentors companies at the BizLab.

The mission of Startup Tech Valley is to provide events that engage first-time entrepreneurs, experienced entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, employees of startups, service providers to startups, and anyone else who wants to be involved.

Mr. Honen focuses his practice in corporate, finance, and venture capital law, and complex commercial litigation. He is the firm’s Venture Capital Team Leader and is the Partner in Charge of the firm’s Albany office. He provides corporate counsel to a broad spectrum of companies from start-up to Fortune 50 and has lectured extensively, particularly on the topics of corporate law, venture capital, and angel investing. He also represents companies in complex commercial litigation matters.
