PHILLIPS LYTLE LLP PARTNER RANA JAZAYERLI TO PRESENT AT EB-5 SUMMIT FOR ATTORNEYS AND DEVELOPERS IN NEW YORK CITY 

Buffalo, N.Y. – Rana Jazayerli, a partner with Phillips Lytle LLP, a premier regional law firm that is recognized nationally for its legal excellence, will speak at the EB-5 Summit for Attorneys and Developers on April 17, 2015 in New York. Phillips Lytle LLP is a sponsor of the event.

The Immigrant Investor Program, also known as “EB-5,” was created by Congress in 1990 to stimulate the U.S. economy through job creation and capital investment by foreign investors. The Summit will be beneficial to anyone involved in EB-5. The event day will bring together experts and practitioners on all sides of the EB-5 equation. After each panel, guests will have the opportunity to discuss EB-5 issues among themselves and with speakers.

Ms. Jazayerli provides counsel on all areas of U.S. immigration law, with a focus on employment-based visas, counseling employers on a broad range of immigration matters, including the hiring of foreign nationals under temporary employment visa categories such as H-1Bs and L-1As. She also advises employers on proper I-9 form compliance and the use of the federal E-Verify employment authorization program.

In addition, Ms. Jazayerli has extensive expertise in the EB-5 Immigrant Investor visa program, providing assistance to individuals seeking U.S. permanent residency through investment, and U.S. companies seeking EB-5 Regional Center designation to allow them to finance job creating projects.

She earned her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, Masters of Communications from American University, and her B.S.F.S from Georgetown University.
