PHILLIPS LYTLE LLP PARTNER MARK J. MORETTI VOTED PRESIDENT-ELECT OF MONROE COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION 

Rochester, N.Y. – Mark J. Moretti, a partner with Phillips Lytle LLP a premier regional law firm recognized nationally for legal excellence, has been voted President-elect of the 2000 member Monroe County Bar Association for the 2015-2016 year. He will serve as president through the 2016-2017 year.

The Monroe County Bar Association, originally formed as the Rochester Bar Association, was organized in 1892. What started with just 25 members, has grown to 2,000 law professionals in Monroe County, committed to improving the quality and accessibility of justice; promoting respect for and understanding of the law; enhancing professional growth, fulfillment, excellence, collegiality and diversity among its members; and serving as the voice of the law profession.

Mr. Moretti focuses his practice in business and tort litigation with a concentration on construction disputes, commercial contracts, real property, and estates litigation and serves as the chairman of the firm’s Construction Practice Team. Previously he has served as the Chairman of the Trial Section of the New York State Bar Association and in the NYSBA House of Delegates. He has also served on the Board of VLSP and as Chairman of the Foodlink Board of Directors.

He was selected a Lawyer of the Year in 2013 in Construction Litigation by The Best Lawyers in America®, and was named a 2014 Leader in the Law by The Daily Record.

He is a Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America, the American Bar Foundation, and the New York State Bar Foundation.
