PHILLIPS LYTLE LLP PARTNER MARK J. MORETTI TO SERVE ON CRITIQUE FACULTY AT NEW YORK STATE BAR ASSOCIATION’S YOUNG LAWYERS SECTION TRIAL ACADEMY AT CORNELL LAW SCHOOL
Rochester, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP Partner Mark J. Moretti will serve on the critique faculty at the New York State Bar Association’s (NYSBA) Young Lawyers Section Trial Academy at Cornell Law School, in Ithaca, March 30–April 3, 2016. Mr. Moretti has participated in all seven years the event has been held.
Mr. Moretti is the former Chairman of the Trial Section of the NYSBA and is currently President Elect of the Monroe County Bar Association.
The New York State Bar Association Trial Academy is a five-day trial techniques program that will teach, advance and improve the courtroom skills of young and new lawyers with an emphasis on non-direct participation. The Trial Academy is an example of how NYSBA is working to provide programs that are beneficial and productive for those attorneys who are new to the profession or transitioning to trial work.
Mr. Moretti focuses his practice in the areas of business and tort litigation with a concentration on construction disputes, commercial contracts, ERISA, estate disputes, banking litigation, insurance defense and subrogation, commercial leases and other real property litigation including real property taxation and condemnation.
