PHILLIPS LYTLE LLP PARTNER GREGORY L. PETERSON AND THE ROBERT H. JACKSON CENTER HONORED AT INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM COMMEMORATING THE NUREMBERG LAWS & NUREMBERG TRIALS IN POLAND
Jamestown, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP Partner Gregory H. Peterson and the Robert H. Jackson Center were honored at the International Legal Symposium Commemorating the Nuremberg Laws & Nuremberg Trials on May 4 at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. Mr. Peterson is the co-founder and past president of the Robert H. Jackson Center.
This historic legal symposium took place in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Nuremberg Race Laws and the 70th anniversary of the Nuremberg Trials.
Robert H. Jackson was a leading American lawyer, judge, writer and life of the 20th century. He served as a United States Supreme Court Justice from 1941 until 1954. During 1945-46, Justice Jackson was the architect of the international trial process and then the chief prosecutor of the surviving Nazi leaders at Nuremberg, Germany.
The mission of the Robert H. Jackson Center is to advance public awareness and appreciation of the principles of justice and the rule of law as embodied in the achievements and legacy of Robert H. Jackson, U.S. Supreme Court Justice and Chief U.S. Prosecutor at Nuremberg.
Mr. Peterson focuses his practice in all areas of real estate, including development and financial transactions, areas of corporate counseling including acquisitions, administration and strategic planning, not-for-profit corporate formation, tax exemption and qualification with New York State administrative areas.
