PHILLIPS LYTLE LLP PARTNER ALAN J. BOZER NAMED CHAIRMAN OF THE NIAGARA GREENWAY COMMISSION’S BUFFALO AND ERIE COUNTY GREENWAY FUND STANDING COMMITTEE
Buffalo, N.Y. – Alan J. Bozer, a partner with Phillips Lytle LLP, a premier regional law firm that is recognized nationally for its legal excellence, has been named chairman of the Niagara Greenway Commission’s Buffalo and Erie County Greenway Fund Standing Committee.
The mission of the Niagara Greenway Committee is to continue and advance the state’s commitment to the preservation, enhancement and development of the world-renowned scenic, natural, historic, cultural and recreational resources of the Niagara River Greenway, while continuing to emphasize economic development activities and remaining consistent with the tradition of municipal home rule.
Mr. Bozer co-chairs the firm’s White Collar Criminal Defense & Government Investigations Practice Team. He is active in trying criminal and civil cases, and handles appellate and arbitration work as well.
He is listed on the Upstate New York Super Lawyers® list, and has been recognized by the Erie County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project for Pro Bono work in immigration law.
Mr. Bozer earned his J.D, cum laude, from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo School of Law and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Harvard College.
He is a member of LawExchange International’s Dispute Resolution Group, has served as an Adjunct Lecturer: Post-Judgment Remedies at the SUNY at Buffalo School of Law, and is a member of the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy, board of trustees, and co-chair its “Long Range Planning Committee” as well as its annual “Olmsted Open” Golf Tournament
