PHILLIPS LYTLE LLP ELECTS TWO ATTORNEYS FROM ITS BUFFALO OFFICE TO THE FIRM’S PARTNERSHIP
Buffalo, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP elected two attorneys from its Buffalo office to the firm’s partnership. Jennifer A. Beckage (Litigation) and Richard J. Marinaccio (Corporate) were named partners effective January 1, 2016.
The firm extended the offer of partnership to a total of five attorneys in its Buffalo and Rochester offices, as a reflection of their hard work, dedication, firm citizenship and many accomplishments.
Ms. Beckage concentrates her practice on complex business disputes and commercial litigation involving, among other things, intellectual property, employee disloyalty, violations of non-compete agreements and other employment matters, breaches of contract, fraud matters, food product litigation, class actions, and corporate compliance with regulatory bodies. In addition, she has extensive experience with technology issues, including e-discovery, computer forensics, and social media, and has authored and presented on a variety of technology-related topics concerning discovery of electronic information in state and federal lawsuits.
Before beginning her legal career, Ms. Beckage was an owner of a technology-based company. She successfully helped lead the company through an acquisition, in which she was retained in a high-level management position. This experience allows her to bring indepth industry knowledge to her legal practice.
Mr. Marinaccio focuses his practice on international and domestic business transactions, corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, franchise law, licensing and technology transactions, and privacy matters. He is a member of the Canadian Cross Border Team.
Prior to joining Phillips Lytle, Mr. Marinaccio was a Director and Assistant General Counsel for one of the nation’s largest administrators of self-funded benefit plans.
