PHILLIPS LYTLE LLP ELECTS THREE ATTORNEYS FROM ITS ROCHESTER OFFICE TO THE FIRM’S PARTNERSHIP
Rochester, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP elected three attorneys from its Rochester office to the firm’s partnership. Brian C. Ivy, Ryan A. Lown and Michael Overmyer were named partners effective January 1, 2016.
The firm extended the offer of partnership to a total of five attorneys in its Rochester and Buffalo offices, as a reflection of their hard work, dedication, firm citizenship and many accomplishments.
Mr. Ivy’s practice is principally in the area of banking and financial services concentrating on commercial and real estate lending with an emphasis on construction and permanent financing, credit enhancements and bond purchases for tax credit supported projects, including affordable housing, new markets, and historic and alternative energy tax credits.
Mr. Lown focuses his practice in the area of real estate, including commercial real estate lending and development, secured financing and workouts, condominium and planned unit development matters, and project development.
Mr. Overmyer focuses his practice in the areas of banking and financial services, as well as real estate. He represents financial institutions in complex structured finance transactions nationwide, including financing for affordable housing, new market and historic tax credit projects. In addition, he has experience in financing for affordable housing transactions, which regularly include bond purchases and credit enhancements for tax-exempt bond transactions.
Mr. Overmyer routinely handles secured-transactions involving asset-based and commercial real estate financing; revolving credit facilities; mezzanine loans; and loan participations and syndications. His practice also includes representing commercial lenders in public finance transactions.
