PHILLIPS LYTLE LLP CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER REBECCA E. FARBO WILL SERVE AS A MENTOR FOR BIZWOMEN MENTORING MONDAY
Buffalo, N.Y. – Rebecca E. Farbo, chief marketing officer for Phillips Lytle LLP, will serve as a mentor for “Bizwomen Mentoring Monday” a woman-to-woman business event on April 4. Sponsored by Buffalo Business First, the third annual event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to noon, at The Millennium Hotel, 2040 Walden Ave, Cheektowaga, NY.
The event will offer attendees the opportunity to choose from mentors who are the most influential women in the community for one-on-one coaching sessions for five minute conversations. The attendees will stand in line and wait for a particular mentor or move to the next mentor available. This will allow the attendees to network with each other while they are waiting, which is just as important as the coaching sessions. The quick turnaround is organized chaos which will be fast, fun and fulfilling as everyone gets the chance to meet new people and gain new insights.
This event will take place in more than markets on the same day, which means at least 200+ women will be coached in every market, or 10,000+ women across America, from Albany to Hawaii.
Ms. Farbo provides the overall marketing vision and leadership for Phillips Lytle’s eight offices, including brand strategy and management, business development, advertising, social media, public relations, marketing communications and internal communications. She oversees firm-wide business development activities, including client teams, client satisfaction assessment, and client development and relationship management training.
She brings a wealth of experience to the firm, with over 30 years of experience in the field of marketing. Ms. Farbo previously held advertising agency positions including: Agency President, SVP Sales Promotion, SVP Account Service and Agency Creative Director.
She was recipient of the Business First of Buffalo “Women of Influence Award” in 2014. She also received the Advertising Club of Buffalo “Odysseus Award” in 2013 and the March of Dimes, New York State Chapter, Communications Award in 2009.
