PHILLIPS LYTLE LLP ATTORNEY KEVIN J. MULVEHILL ELECTED TO FIRM’S PARTNERSHIP
Rochester, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP, a premier regional law firm that is recognized nationally for its legal excellence, has elected attorney Kevin J. Mulvehill to the firm’s partnership, effective January 1, 2015. He resides in the firm’s Rochester and Buffalo offices.
The firm extended the offer of partnership to six attorneys, from four of its offices, as a reflection of their hard work, dedication, firm citizenship and many accomplishments.
Mr. Mulvehill’s practice is business-oriented and broad based. He concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, labor and employment litigation, and counseling and representing public and private sector employers in all areas of labor and employment law.
His areas of focus include: compliance with state and federal labor and employment laws; wage and hour law; employment hiring, discipline and termination; reductions in force; employee leave issues; work rules; personnel policies and practices; non-compete agreements and other restrictive covenants; employment contracts; employment discrimination; labor arbitrations, unfair labor practices and other labor matters; workplace investigations; and employee training.
He received his B.S. from Cornell University, and his J.D. from State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. In addition, Mr. Mulvehill studied comparative law at Université Robert Schuman, Strasbourg School of Law, France.
Mr. Mulvehill received the Volunteer Lawyers Project 2013 Pro Bono Award for his work on the Immigration Project. He was previously recognized by the Erie County Bar Association’s Volunteer Lawyers Project for Pro Bono work in Immigration Law and has been cited as an “Up & Coming Attorney” by The Daily Record.
He is a member of the Cornell Club of Rochester, United Martial Arts Center and the Rochester Rotary Club.
