PHILLIPS LYTLE LLP ADDS ATTORNEY ALISSA M. FORTUNA-VALENTINE
Rochester, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP announced the addition of Alissa M. Fortuna-Valentine as an associate. She will be based in the firm’s Rochester office.
Ms. Fortuna-Valentine concentrates her practice in the area of business litigation, with particular emphasis on labor and employment law. Her practice experience includes defense of employers faced with employment discrimination suits in Federal court as well as representation of employers before the New York State Division of Human Rights and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Additionally, Ms. Fortuna-Valentine’s practice experience includes representation of businesses with regard to collections claims, breach of contract claims and shareholder disputes.
Ms. Fortuna-Valentine received her B.A. from University of Rochester, and her J.D., cum laude, from State University at Buffalo Law School.
This year, Ms. Fortuna-Valentine received the “Up & Coming Attorney” award from The Daily Record at its Excellence in Law event.
