Phillips Lytle LLP Partner Anna Mercado Clark Designated as Fellow of Information Privacy, Joining Select Group of Premier Practitioners Globally
New York, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP Partner Anna Mercado Clark, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, FIP, recently received the Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) designation from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the world’s largest and most comprehensive global information privacy community and resource. Launched by the IAPP in 2016, this prominent global distinction is available to leading privacy professionals in countries around the world.
The FIP designation is awarded only to those who demonstrate an elevated knowledge of privacy laws, privacy program management and essential data protection practices. This title is only available to those who have also earned a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US), as well as a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) or Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT).
Ms. Clark has worked tirelessly to build her practice in the areas of complex e-discovery and digital forensics, cybersecurity and data privacy, and commercial litigation. Her FIP certification further bolsters her authority in these areas of expertise. As the leader of Phillips Lytle’s Data Security & Privacy and E-Discovery & Digital Forensics Practice Teams, Ms. Clark routinely counsels her clients on best practices on all things privacy and security.
