Buffalo, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP Partner Douglas W. Dimitroff will serve as a moderator for the virtual Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA) Connect (X): All Access Policy Summit. The virtual event will be held Tuesday, February 23 through Thursday, February 25, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. each day.
Mr. Dimitroff will moderate the panel titled, “The 5G Workforce and Registered Apprenticeship: Turning Training from a Cost into a Competitive Advantage.” The panel will take place on Thursday at 1:10 p.m. and is sponsored by Phillips Lytle LLP.
Panel description: The advanced networks required for the 21st century cannot be built without a properly skilled workforce. Today, the United States does not have the skilled and trained workforce needed by all stakeholders in the 5G ecosystem to meet the needs of network operators and their site development partners. Learn more about the WIA’s apprentice program and workforce development initiatives – a joint venture between the private sector, the U.S. Federal Government, and WIA’s unique training and educational center.
