Attorney Brendan S. Lillis Joins Phillips Lytle LLP’s Buffalo Office

ATTORNEY BRENDAN S. LILLIS JOINS PHILLIPS LYTLE LLP’S BUFFALO OFFICE

Buffalo, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP, a premier regional law firm that is recognized nationally for its legal excellence, announced the addition of attorney Brendan S. Lillis as an associate. Mr. Lillis will be based in the firm’s Buffalo office.

Mr. Lillis concentrates his practice in all areas of intellectual property law, with particular emphasis on patent preparation and prosecution and opinion work in the software, mobile applications and electronic arts. In addition, Mr. Lillis has experience in prosecuting patents on business methods and computer memory.

He has a degree in computer engineering from Syracuse University, and prior to working at Phillips Lytle, was a patent examiner for three years in the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Washington D.C., where he worked in the computer memory art unit. He advises clients on all phases of domestic and international patent and trademark portfolio management. Mr. Lillis is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Mr. Lillis received his J.D. from University at Buffalo School of Law.
