PHILLIPS LYTLE ENERGY CONSULTING SERVICES HEAD OF ENERGY AND SUSTAINABILITY DENNIS W. ELSENBECK TO MODERATE PANEL AT 5TH ANNUAL NEW YORK ENERGY SUMMIT

Albany, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle Energy Consulting Services Head of Energy and Sustainability, Dennis W. Elsenbeck will serve as a moderator at the 5th Annual New York Energy Summit. The event will take place October 16-18 at the Hilton Albany.

On Friday, October 18th, Mr. Elsenbeck will lead the panel discussion titled, “Investing in Non-Wires Alternatives as a Solution to New York’s ‘Tale of Two Grids’ Challenge.” This panel will discuss initiatives for investing in non-wire alternatives (NWA) as a solution to increasing access to clean energy. Other topics of discussion include:

  • Climate Action Council plans
  • Effects of demand response initiatives
  • The need for AMI, grid software and hardware controls
  • DERs: distributed solar & energy storage deployment
  • Potential cost savings

Mr. Elsenbeck provides consulting services on a broad range of energy-related opportunities encompassing a forward view of supply, distribution, and demand options. In his leadership role with a major U.S. utility for nearly 30 years, he brings to Phillips Lytle insight, analytics, and business perspectives on long-term policies and the economic landscape.
