In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, Phillips Lytle LLP will host a virtual panel discussion regarding the continued racially-motivated crimes against, and harassment of, AAPIs, with a particular focus on multifaceted approaches to combatting hate crimes, resources for victims and efforts to track, respond and reduce these incidents.
Flora Donovan, of Phillips Lytle, moderated this panel comprised of Elaine Chiu, Chair of the Asian American Bar Association of New York’s Anti-Asian Violence Task Force; Eugena Oh, Regional Director, Greater NYC Area for The Asian American Foundation (TAAF); Tai Park, Co-Chair of The Alliance for Asian American Justice; and Hannah Yu, Chief of the Hate Crimes Unit of the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.
