Mr. Staszkiw focuses his practice on data privacy and cybersecurity compliance having represented clients in a broad range of industries including retail, transportation, gaming and automotive. He counsels clients on compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as well as Virginia’s Consumer Data Protection Act (CDPA). As an experienced litigator, Mr. Staszkiw skillfully assists his clients in internal investigations and data security incidents. He has been awarded the ANSI-accredited credential of Certified Information Privacy Professional for the U.S. Private Sector (CIPP/US) through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

In addition to data privacy matters, Mr. Staszkiw also represents clients on arbitration and commercial litigation matters.

Prior to joining Phillips Lytle, Mr. Staszkiw was an appellate court attorney for the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department.
