Steven is a litigator who concentrates his practice on disputes involving businesses and government entities.
Steven has represented clients in various types of matters, including contract disputes, land use disputes, and challenges to the validity of state and local legislation. His experience ranges from initial pleadings to dispositive motions and appeals, and his clients include elected officials, government entities, real estate developers, law firms, a bank, and a small-business lender.
After graduating with honors from Harvard Law School, Steven earned a Skadden Foundation Fellowship and founded a nonprofit program that provides free legal services to low-income entrepreneurs. He then clerked for a federal judge in Toledo, Ohio before joining Phillips Lytle.
