A member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, Sam represents clients in a broad range of commercial, environmental and governmental matters.
Litigating in both state and federal courts, Sam has experience with contractual disputes, restrictive covenants, class actions, Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and environmental torts. He also has litigated a variety of regulatory and constitution claims, including due process violations, infringements on the right to bear arms, federal preemption and administrative rulemaking.
Sam also serves as a Captain in the United States Army Reserve.

Representative Matters
Represented a nursing community in defending against a breach of contract claim, resulting in summary judgment dismissing the complaint.
Defended a not-for-profit organization against Child Victims Act claim, leading to dismissal of the complaint at the pleading stage.
Represented a financial institution in filing a motion to dismiss breach of contract and statutory consumer protection law claims, resulting in the plaintiff voluntarily discontinuing the action.
Represented clients in 42 U.S.C. § 1983 claims against New York State for constitutional violations.
