Christopher D. Barraza, a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, product liability and mass tort litigation. His broad subject matter expertise also includes maritime law, the False Claims Act, deceptive trade practice statutes, and the FTC Holder Rule. He has represented clients across a variety of sectors, including automotive, aviation, chemicals, consumer products, financial services, materials science, marine towing, oil and gas, and renewable energy.
Myles K. Bartley, a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, is a trial lawyer with particular expertise in the areas of commercial litigation and mass and toxic torts. He has successfully tried cases in state and federal courts across the country, as well as in multiple arbitration forums, including AAA, FINRA, and JAMS, and before the Major League Baseball Players Association. Myles’ experience involves breach of contract, fraud, insurance, RICO, real estate, insolvency and restructuring, and securities fraud. He also has significant experience handling matters involving complex financial products. Earlier in his career, Myles served as an infantry officer in a special operations unit in the United States Army, rising to the rank of captain.
Catherine N. Cervone is a member of the firm’s Banking & Financial Services Practice Group, concentrating her practice in the area of bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, including workouts, reorganizations and secured transactions. Her experience includes representation of creditors and corporate debtors as to secured transactions, complex chapter 11 bankruptcies, as well as forbearance agreements, restructuring term sheets and support agreements, plans of reorganization and disclosure statements.
Erin E. Connare is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, concentrating her practice in the areas of commercial litigation and product liability. As part of her practice, she defends manufacturers against product liability and tort claims both regionally and nationally, and assists in the defense of such claims in the province of Ontario. Additionally, Erin also has experience with the defense and enforceability of non-solicitation and non-competition agreements.
Asaf Hahami is a member of the firm’s Land, Environment & Energy Practice Group, concentrating his practice on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity transactions, securities law matters, corporate finance (including venture lending), strategic alliances and joint venture transactions, technology licensing and development, and related general corporate, real estate and intellectual property matters. He provides legal services to both domestic and foreign clients, including institutional investors and funds, high net worth individuals, and public and private companies, as well as startups, emerging businesses, founders and entrepreneurs. His expertise includes representation of funds and portfolio companies in the telecommunications infrastructure and technology sectors.
Lindsey E. Haubenreich is a member of the firm’s Land, Environment & Energy Practice Group, focusing her practice on environmental, land use and zoning, real estate development and telecommunications matters. She has experience counseling clients on environmental due diligence, environmental compliance and brownfield redevelopment. Her land use and development practice includes extensive knowledge regarding compliance with the State Environmental Quality Review Act. Lindsey has appeared before municipalities across New York State on behalf of business owners and developers regarding applications for zoning permits and approvals, including special use permits, site plan approvals, variance requests, subdivisions and rezonings. She also has experience appearing before the New York State Department of State Regional Boards of Review on applications for variances from the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code.
Timothy P. Kucinski is a member of the firm’s Corporate Practice Group, focusing his practice on a comprehensive range of transactional corporate matters, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, domestic and international business transactions, commercial contracts and corporate governance matters. In his M&A practice, Tim advises domestic and international clients in private and public company transactions across numerous industry sectors. He advises and provides counsel to both for-profit and not-for-profit clients, including public companies, health care organizations, private equity firms, startup companies and charitable organizations. In addition, Tim is a member of, and provides corporate support to, both the firm’s Data Security & Privacy and Crisis Response & Management Teams.
Jacob S. Sonner, a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, concentrates his practice in the areas of construction litigation and commercial litigation, including commercial disputes, breach of contract claims and commercial torts. His practice also includes product liability defense litigation, eminent domain litigation, and real property valuation and tax assessment litigation. Jacob has experience representing clients in New York State courts and in federal district and bankruptcy courts across the country. He also has experience managing complex, high-volume discovery matters. Jacob regularly assists clients in site inspections and forensic product testing during, or prior to, litigation.
