Known for her strategic approach and ability to expedite approvals for her clients, Lindsey focuses her practice on environmental, land use and zoning, real estate development and telecommunications matters.
Lindsey is co-leader for the firm’s Energy and Renewables Team, focusing her practice on environmental law, land use and zoning, energy, and telecommunications law. She has experience counseling clients on environmental due diligence, environmental compliance and brownfield redevelopment. She represents clients in regulatory and transactional matters before the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and advises clients on the development and siting of renewable energy facilities. Lindsey regularly speaks to the impacts of New York’s Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA) and how it affects real estate development projects and the real estate community as a whole.
Lindsey has appeared before municipalities across New York State on behalf of telecommunications companies, manufacturers, real estate developers and nonprofit corporations regarding applications for zoning permits and approvals, including special use permits, site plan approvals, variance requests, subdivisions and rezonings. She also has extensive knowledge regarding compliance with the State Environmental Quality Review Act. Lindsey has experience appearing before New York State Department of State Regional Boards of Review on applications for variances from the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code.
