Jacob is an experienced business litigator that represents his clients in actions throughout New York state courts and in federal district and bankruptcy courts across the country.
Jacob’s expertise includes commercial disputes, breach of contract matters, business torts and construction litigation. He also focuses his practice on product liability defense, eminent domain litigation, and real property valuation and tax assessment litigation.
Outside the courtroom, Jacob manages complex, high-volume discovery matters. He also regularly assists clients in site inspections and forensic product testing during, or prior to, litigation.
Jacob has been recognized as an Upstate New York Super Lawyers®Rising Star, 2018-2022 and named to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch. He is also an honoree of the New York State Bar Association Empire State Counsel® Program for Pro Bono Work in 2021.

Representative Matters
Part of a select litigation team that prosecuted a breach of guarantee claim to a $53 million jury verdict on behalf of large inventory finance lender.
Defended an industrial equipment manufacturer against claims of negligent safety training which resulted in order dismissing all claims.
Litigated fraud and conversion claims on behalf of a secured creditor in two separate actions in U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, resulting in prejudgment orders awarding the client possession of its secured collateral and, ultimately, orders granting judgments against the defendants.
Defended a Western New York company against claims brought by the New York State Thruway Authority for alleged roadway damages.
Represented consumer products manufacturer at site inspections and forensic product tests across the country, resulting in discontinuance of claims.
