Phillips Lytle Partner Kenneth a. Manning Receives NFJC Citation Award from National Federation for Just Communities of Western New York, Inc.

Buffalo, N.Y. Phillips Lytle LLP Partner Kenneth A. Manning has been named a recipient of the 2020 NFJC Citation Award from the National Federation for Just Communities of Western New York, Inc. (NFJC). The award will be presented at the “Reimagined 2020 NFJC Virtual Citation Banquet” via Zoom on Tuesday, October 20 at 7:00 p.m.

The NFJC is a human relations organization dedicated to overcoming racism, bias and discrimination by building understanding, respect and trust through education, advocacy and community involvement.

Mr. Manning has experience in bet-the-company corporate and commercial litigation, including dissolution proceedings, employment termination disputes, and controversies involving the sale of goods and services. In addition to personal injury and wrongful death claims involving products liability, workplace accidents, negligence and environmental exposure experience, Mr. Manning has prosecuted and defended class actions in both state and federal courts. He also has experience in challenges to governmental actions, including taxes and assessments, as well as actions for declaratory relief. Additionally, Mr. Manning concentrates his practice in the area of education law and is leader of Phillips Lytle’s Education Practice Team.
