Orleans County filed a lawsuit in an effort to stop construction of a sewage transmission line through its jurisdiction that would route wastewater from the STAMP industrial park into Oak Orchard Creek, contending the wastewater would pollute the creek and potentially damage the county’s fishing industry. A judge dismissed the case on procedural grounds that the county waited too long to file the suit.
Attorneys James O’Connor and Matthew Fitzgerald represented STAMP in the matter.
