With an engineering background, Diana brings unique perspectives and insight on clients’ development projects. Diana has represented business owners, developers, nonprofit organizations, solar developers and telecommunication companies seeking to work through local land use approvals in New York State and compliance with the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA). Diana plans for, prepares and files applications for zoning permits and approvals, such as special use permits, site plan approvals, variance requests, subdivisions, zoning code text amendments and rezonings. She also assists clients in challenging zoning and SEQRA decisions pursuant to Article 78 of the Civil Practice Laws and Rules.
Prior to joining Phillips Lytle, Diana was an engineer and project manager for a major midwest natural gas utility company for seven years, project managing gas distribution construction projects and implementing process improvements for the company. She currently serves on the Board for the Zoological Society of Buffalo, ProZoo Board and the Air Waste and Management Association, Niagara Frontier Section.
