Launched by the IAPP in 2016, this prominent global distinction is available to leading privacy professionals in countries around the world.

The FIP designation is awarded only to those who demonstrate an elevated knowledge of privacy laws, privacy program management and essential data protection practices. This title is only available to those who have also earned a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US), as well as a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) or Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT).
