PHILLIPS LYTLE LLP AND GREATER ROCHESTER ENTERPRISE TO HOST 2016 ITAR & EAR EXPERT ROUNDTABLE
Rochester, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP and Greater Rochester Enterprise will host an ITAR & EAR Expert Roundtable. The event will take place at the GRE Boardroom, 100 Chestnut Street, Suite 1900 in Rochester on Wednesday, April 13 at 8:30 a.m.
The roundtable discussion will be led by Phillips Lytle LLP Special Counsel Jon P. Yormick and focus on recent International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) reforms. Mr. Yormick will be joined by other area experts, Mary Slack, Contracts & Compliance Administrator, Spectracom; Jim Trubits, VP Business Development, Mohawk Global Trade Advisors; and Larry Vuksanic, VP Business Development & ITAR Empowered Official, REDCOM Laboratories.
In his International Trade and Customs practice, Mr. Yormick represents U.S. and foreign clients before the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the U.S. Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), the U.S. Department of Treasury, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) on import and export laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
