Nicholas Fedorka

Nick is a skilled litigator who represents clients across New York in both state and federal court. He devotes his practice to civil litigation and a wide range of matters.

From commercial litigation, labor and employment, environmental law, product liability, premise liability, complex construction accidents and insurance defense, Nick is known for his dedicated and creative representation in order to successfully resolve disputes in the most cost-effective manner. Nick also has significant experience representing distributors, manufacturers and premises owners in all aspects of the defense of asbestos disease cases.

Nick’s litigation experience and versatile legal knowledge allows him to effectively advocate for his clients. As a skilled negotiator, Nick strives to find sensible settlements that advance his clients’ goals. However, if court is unavoidable, Nick will zealously advocate for his clients’ rights at trial and throughout the litigation process.

  • Obtained summary judgment for manufacturer in an asbestos-related product liability action involving claims of successor liability.
  • Successful representation of municipality in an appellate action affirming the lower court’s denial of default judgment.
  • Successful representation of a college in New York State court litigation involving allegations of dangerous conditions on premises.
  • Successfully represented manufacturer against complaint of workplace violations before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the New York State Division of Human Rights.
  • Assist manufacturer’s internal investigations into workplace violations and provide guidance on disciplinary actions.
