Diana E. Konik

Associate Buffalo

Diana is an associate with a concentration on energy law and land use matters.

With an engineering background, Diana brings unique perspective and insight on clients’ energy projects. She is able to counsel clients on permitting and siting processes within a municipality related to renewable energy projects, telecommunications and other infrastructure matters. She assists renewable energy developers and supply chain manufacturing clients in the application process to obtain funding from New York State energy agencies, such as NYSERDA. Diana can also advise clients on public service commission matters, environmental law matters and regulatory compliance. In addition to firm-related matters, Diana is a volunteer pro bono attorney at Buffalo Housing Court providing short term representation for tenants in eviction proceedings.
Prior to joining Phillips Lytle, Diana was an engineer and project manager for a major Midwest natural gas utility company for seven years, working on gas distribution construction projects and a leader in process improvements for the company.
