An effective and experienced corporate counsel, Sharon concentrates her practice in corporate, not-for-profit, commercial and health law, counseling clients on a broad array of legal matters.
A member of the firm’s Corporate and Business Law Practice Group, Sharon advises clients on corporate governance and structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and financing transactions.
As Co-leader of the firm’s Not-For-Profit Industry team, Sharon regularly counsels not-for-profit clients in healthcare, education, social services, cultural and other industries. She lends her expertise in corporate matters to provide guidance on governance, formation, compliance, restructuring, joint ventures and other transactional arrangements.
Sharon currently serves in leadership positions on two not-for-profit foundation boards and has significant experience as a volunteer board member from her current and prior board positions. She has been named to City & State New York‘s Responsible 100 List and is also listed in The Best Lawyers in America® for Corporate Law and Nonprofit/Charities Law. Additionally, Sharon is recognized as a thought leader in not-for-profit corporation law, frequently speaking to boards of directors on fiduciary duties and issues affecting not-for-profits.
