Maria focuses her practice on commercial litigation, white collar investigations and cybersecurity. She provides her clients with discerning counsel on a wide range of matters.

Maria has counseled regulated entities, construction companies, and multi-national corporations. An experienced litigator, she represented clients in complex litigation spanning corporate matters, technology, telecommunications and energy-sector transactions. She has experience defending and prosecuting white-collar cases with additional experience in leading cross-border enforcement and global investigations related to cybersecurity and data privacy.

Prior to joining Phillips Lytle, she was a litigation senior associate in the largest law firm in the Philippines. She was involved in congressional hearings in aid of legislation, including investigations pertaining to the national elections and amendments to the Philippine Constitution
