Joe’s litigation experience spans a wide variety of industries and specialties. He has successfully navigated complex product liability, personal injury defense and commercial and insurance claims. He has represented designers and manufacturers in high-exposure product liability cases involving medical devices, pharmaceuticals, industrial equipment, power tools, aircraft, recreational vehicles and other products.

Joe’s passionate and collaborative approach provides strategic counsel in assessing and protecting against risk and liability. He effectively adapts to the unique aspects of a case in order to effectively protect the best interests of the individuals and organizations he represents and to maximize litigation outcomes. He has arbitrated, mediated and settled numerous multimillion dollar cases utilizing his aggressive negotiation skills.

Prior to joining Phillips Lytle, Joe managed a wide variety of financial services matters for over a decade as litigation counsel for one of the world’s largest commercial banks.
