PHILLIPS LYTLE LLP SPECIAL COUNSEL JON P. YORMICK TO SPEAK AT U.S. SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (SBA) BUFFALO DISTRICT’S INTERNATIONAL TRADE TASK FORCE HOLIDAY MEETING
Buffalo, N.Y. – Jon P. Yormick, special counsel with Phillips Lytle LLP, a premier regional law firm that is recognized nationally for its legal excellence, will speak at the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Buffalo District’s International Trade Task Force Holiday Meeting on Friday, December 4th. The event will be held at Phillips Lytle’s One Canalside office in downtown Buffalo.
Mr. Yormick will present on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and its potential interplay with other existing free trade agreements (FTAs), including the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
Mr. Yormick is an experienced international business and trade lawyer, practicing for more than 20 years. In his International Trade and Customs practice, he represents U.S. and foreign clients before the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the U.S. Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), the U.S. Department of Treasury, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) on import and export laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
