The New York City Bar Association awarded Phillips Lytle LLP Partner Anna Mercado Clark with the Huntington Her Hero Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2023 Fourth International Law Conference on the Status of Women on March 8, 2023, where she also served as a panelist.
The International Law Conference on the Status of Women hosted by the New York City Bar Association’s African Affairs and United Nations Committees allows attendees to have critical conversations about the status of women and girls around the world, with a focus on how laws and policies have contributed, for better and for worse, to their current status. Anna joined other panelists to provide insights and expertise as to how the legal profession can address the situation to promote a more equitable and less discriminatory environment for women and girls. Furthermore, the panelists highlighted their efforts, and the efforts of their respective organizations, to promote gender equality and empower women and girls.
