Bronston, Wireless Infrastructure Association Capital & Finance Summit

Phillips Lytle LLP Special Counsel and Telecommunications Practice Team Leader David E. Bronston to Speak at the Wireless Infrastructure Association Capital & Finance Summit

New York, N.Y. – Phillips Lytle LLP Special Counsel and Telecommunications Practice Team Leader David E. Bronston will speak at the Wireless Infrastructure Association Capital & Finance Summit. The Summit will take place on Wednesday, April 21. Mr. Bronston will participate in the noon discussion titled, “Financing Options for Enterprises Deploying In-Building Wireless Solutions.”

Mr. Bronston’s presentation will focus on how the pandemic accelerated a change in thinking by enterprises about their IT infrastructure and digital transformation, and the role wireless will play in that transformation. It is not sustainable for Mobile Network Owners (MNOs) to invest in bringing the outdoor signal inside buildings. Rather, it is incumbent on property operators to fund and implement their own plans. There are many capital sources available for companies that now have to pay for and acquire their in-building wireless solutions, and different ways to finance and make acquisition easier.

Mr. Bronston has nearly three decades of experience in the telecommunications industry, focusing his practice on network licensing and the intersection of telecommunications infrastructure with real estate. He has represented public and private property owners nationwide in license agreements, right-of-way agreements and other access agreements with telecommunications service providers. He has also represented all types of telecommunications service providers in negotiating leases, licenses and franchise agreements with local governments, and obtaining all necessary authorizations and administrative permits and approvals for converged digital infrastructure such as fiber, small cells, DAS, towers, macro sites and data center facilities. In addition, Mr. Bronston assists telecommunications companies with mergers and acquisitions, as well as other transactional matters. He is a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association, serves on the New York State Wireless Association Board of Directors, and frequently speaks and writes in the telecommunications space.
