From France to Oklahoma to Illinois to New York, Ophélie Ducailloux has traversed the globe on a number of adventures.
An avid traveler, Ophélie’s education and career has taken her from her home near Saint Tropez to Limoges (France), Stillwater (Oklahoma), Chicago (Illinois) and now Rochester (New York). Outside of this “business” travel, Ophélie has traveled for pleasure, too, making her way through France, the U.S. and Mexico. She has determined that her favorite place to visit has been Mexico due to the culture, the people, the landscape and the food.
Ophélie is a first generation college student, and her studies brought her to Stillwater as part of an exchange program while attending the University of Limoges. After a year in Oklahoma and the completion of her degree in France, Ophélie found herself in Chicago at Northwestern’s Pritzker School of Law where she graduated with honors in 2022.
As her law school education ends and the next chapter in her legal career begins, Ophélie offered some words of advice for others working their way through law school. “Stay persistent. It is not because you don’t have the same background as everyone else that you can’t achieve your goals!”
Heeding her own advice, Ophélie has landed in Rochester as a new associate here at Phillips Lytle, concentrating her practice in banking and financial services. She is looking forward to playing a role in Phillips Lytle’s continued growth, and we have already witnessed how great of an asset she is to our firm and our clients.
